The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join the personal injury team dealing with their own case load of fast track (predominantly litigated matters) and supervising up to 3 members of the team with their fast track case loads.   

Your key duties will be:

  • actively pursuing your own fast track case load, working to KPIs and ensuring best client service
  • supervising up to 3 members of the team with their fast track caseloads and providing mentoring / coaching for performance
  • providing support for queries raised
  • providing assistance with technical queries
  • maintaining data on Excel spreadsheets and updating file lists on a monthly basis
  • auditing of files
  • assisting with the training and refresher training for all relevant areas of fast track practice

Skills and experience you will have:

  • confidence with IT systems to include Microsoft Word, Proclaim and Excel
  • previous experience in a supervisory role is advantageous

Key competencies you will need:

  • the ability to work well in a team and develop good working relationships with colleagues and others
  • good communication skills with the confidence to liaise openly and clearly with colleagues and clients
  • the ability to produce a high standard of work, sometimes under time constraints, whilst maintaining accuracy and good attention to detail
  • to be able to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and confidence in your own ability
