The Role

The Talent & OD Business Partner has a crucial role in enabling Ampa to be an amazing place to work and supporting our talent to develop their careers and unlock their potential. This role will work closely with the Development team and the Head of Talent & Culture to shape the Group Talent strategy and evolve our group culture. 

 

What you will bring to the role: 

  • Experience working in a development team with previous experience generating strategies and frameworks
  • Great communication skills, at all levels
  • Knowledge and experience of guiding career development

 

Key Duties will include: 

  • To design and deliver OD and change management strategies and interventions that support the business ambition to be a high performing business.
  • To devise an agile talent mobility framework that supports our group growth plans, focusses actions and interventions to develop a robust pipeline of future and ready now talent. 
  •  Work collaboratively with the people team, and Brands/ Business Units to implement and embed activities and projects to evolve our brilliant culture; acting as a coach and culture guide.
  • Design talent reporting and action plans that align to the priorities of the group.
  • Work closely with the Early Ambitions Advisor and Responsible Business Manager to ensure appropriate talent development and mobility actions are in place to support our people EDI ambitions championing greater representation of gender and ethnically diverse talent at all levels of our group.
  • To anticipate the future skill and capability needs of our group and develop interventions/learning opportunities to develop these.  
  • Design talent reporting and action plans that align to the priorities of the group.
  • Responsible for managing our group people promotions activity working closely with the Early Ambitions Advisor and People Business Partners.
  • To embed our people expectations within our group that boosts and supports career mobility &development
  • To lead our - In-house pulse surveys and participation in our independent engagement assessments with external parties to regularly understand feedback from our people, working with our Brands/Business Units, Leaders and People Partners to develop robust action plans to take action to improve and continually strive to make Ampa and even better place to work. 
  • Support our People principles and policies project; ensuring our principles and any policies are reflective of our culture of empowerment and accountability ethos.

Our Marketing & People Team comprises People Business Partnering, Development, Talent & Culture and People Operations functions all focussed on building a high-performance and people centric culture with strong engagement and a reputation for developing talent and enabling success at all levels.

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be predominantly home based with travel as required into Birmingham or one of our other hubs.
