Team Supervisor – Birmingham / Flexible-working

If this sounds like you read on… We are currently recruiting for a Team Supervisor to join our Managed Legal Services team, focused on delivering an excellent service to our clients. All you need are the traits described above plus genuine enthusiasm to learn and we can show you the rest!

  • assisting the Team Manager in ensuring KPI’s are being met
  • checking team spreadsheet and inboxes regularly throughout the day, ensuring work is being dealt with and allocated appropriately
  • taking the lead and/or organising new starter training and coaching/mentoring
  • undertaking all aspects of work across the team, including working on a number of different case management systems and the firm’s CRM software
  • working alongside the Team Manager in organisation/completion of team diary and task management
  • leading by example and driving best practise in interviewing across the team
  • acting as a referral point for case queries from team members and members of the teams being serviced, i.e. clinical negligence/personal injury
  • authority for closure of enquiries
  • assisting the Team Manager in the timely distribution of accurate reports to the MLS group and Lime Board

What you’ll need:

  • A legal qualification is not essential but advantageous
  • Knowledge of legal claims process
  • Solid letter- writing skills
  • Interview experience in a call centre environment
  • The ability to work in and contribute to a close team environment
  • Good communication skills, good telephone manner and the ability to negotiate on the telephone
  • The ability to respond to sudden client and team demands
  • An analytical, problem solving approach
  • A pro-active approach in dealing with enquiries
  • Self motivation with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to self-manage and take ownership of problems
  • To be a positive role model

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, Lincoln, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role can be a blend of home and office based work with travel as required into the Birmingham hub.

Hours:  

We are committed to providing a service to our clients between the hours of 8am and 9pm on Monday to Friday (inc. Bank Holidays), and 9am to 5.30pm on a Saturday and Sunday.  The standard working hours are 37 hours per week; once training has been completed, you will work to shift patterns to accommodate these hours on a rota basis.

Lime Solicitors are one of the UK’s leading Personal Injury, Clinical and Medical Negligence, Industrial Disease and Defective Product compensation claims teams and has expanded to include Will Disputes and Professional Negligence.

This role is based within the Managed Legal Services (MLS) Lime Team. The team support individuals who have been injured in an accident, let down by a medical professional or have a dispute regarding a will.
