The opportunity:

This is a great opportunity for an immediately available, experienced recruitment professional to join our team. We are growing fast and we need a talented recruiter to work along-side our existing team to deliver the talent acquisition needs for the business. You’ll be someone who can hit the ground running quickly, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is hungry to achieve successful results. You will also need to have a sense of fun and great team spirit to fit in with a highly collaborative culture.

The role will be offered initially on a 6 month fixed-term contract basis with the possibility of further extension.

The role:

  • To manage relationships across all levels of stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Working alongside the existing TA Consultants to deliver the recruitment needs for the business units, managing a high volume of roles simultaneously
  • To work with hiring managers to agree and formulate the best recruitment plans for attracting and hiring the best talent
  • Proactively sourcing great talent to fill our vacancies including headhunting for more senior level posts up to but not including partner level
  • Creating and driving a superb candidate and people experience
  • Driving direct hiring rates and reducing recruitment spend
  • Championing our brand in the market place
  • Overseeing the development of talent pipelines and how we engage and connect with our talent pools
  • To be highly active on social media, regularly producing engaging and creative content, driving awareness and developing personal brand
  • Managing relationships with agencies and suppliers, ensuring agency partners have all they need to representing our employer brand brilliantly to candidates
  • Championing EDI initiatives and constantly seeks new ways to reach divers audiences helping to improve our performance in recruitment around this
  • Leading and participation in a range of projects, helping the team to drive transformational change
  • Dealing with complex offer negotiations using a high level of influencing skills
  • Acting as a subject matter expert sharing knowledge and understanding

What you will need:

  • Substantial previous experience gained in an in-house or agency recruitment role, working at a similar level
  • Tenacious and driven, you will be hungry to deliver successful results and make an impact
  • Passionate about and can demonstrate past experience of delivering a best in class, high-touch candidate (internal and external), hiring manager and people experience
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritising skills, able to deliver great results whilst working at pace and with constantly changing priorities
  • Experienced and highly capable in managing complex client and stakeholder relationships, with the ability to think creatively and provide solutions to challenges
  • Commercially astute with the ability to understand the bigger picture and tailor thinking and advice accordingly
  • A high degree of credibility, gravitas and persuasive ability. Able to use influencing skills to bring people with you
  • An ability to rapidly assimilate information and develop robust knowledge in a range of markets and technical functions to enable effective sourcing and assessment of required skills and capabilities
  • Experienced in using a range of sourcing methodologies
  • Capable and versatile in communication skills (written and verbal), can build rapport easily and comfortably at all levels
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and good knowledge of social media platforms

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role can be a blend of home and office based work with travel as required into any of our Midlands office hubs.

You’ll be part of the wider People Team where the focus is on building a high-performance culture with strong engagement and a reputation for developing talent at all levels. The People team has around 25 members comprising HR Business Partnering, Development, Talent & Culture and HR Operations functions. This is a dedicated team of individuals all passionate about helping our people succeed.
