The opportunity:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a CAD Technician to join our Utilities Team within our Commercial Property & Development team in our Nottingham office.  If you looking for the next step in your career then this is the opportunity for you where we will continue to support your personal development in this role.

You will be responsible for producing and amending detailed utility connection CAD drawings throughout a project’s lifecycle and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and grow in this role and to work on other projects with our wider planning and design teams. A typical project would be a gas or electricity utility connection.

You will be proficient in the latest AutoCAD software and provide examples of recently completed work as part of the interview process.  Experience doing similar work is desirable and beneficial.

Key competencies you will have:

  • Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD software
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and an approachable manner
  • Drive, commitment and enthusiasm

Meet Pete Dilks. He heads up our market leading real estate energy team focusing on innovative solutions to renewable energy and flexible energy generation. The team sits in our wider infrastructure and specialist markets business unit.
