This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant IP team, focussing on IP work. You will be working on a wide range of work including both contentious and non-contentious IP law, assisting with advising companies and individuals on exploiting and enforcing their IP rights. The split of contentious to non-contentious work will vary from time to time.
Responsibilities within the role:
- working alongside experienced senior lawyers who have a passion for IP
- building up your own caseload
- handling enquiries efficiently
- liaising with clients in a professional manner
- working to strict deadlines
Skills and experience you will have:
- gained previous experience in IP law during your training contract
- you may already have a post graduate qualification in IP Law – if not we can support you in obtaining one
- strong IT skills
- the ability to manage files effectively
Key competencies you will need:
- a desire to develop expertise in the fast moving area of IP law
- a desire to enhance client relationships through day-to-day activity
- excellent communication skills
- a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a demanding environment
- excellent organisational and prioritising skills
- the ability to work in a busy team

This role can be based from any of our National hubs however flexibility would be required to travel to our Birmingham hub occasionally on an ad-hoc basis for team meetings. |
